SOLAR & BACKUP POWER

Solar and backup power, designed around your needs.

Reliable IT depends on reliable power. Many organisations need their systems available around the clock, yet power interruptions can disrupt operations and access to essential services. That’s why Crownzcom also provides solar and battery backup solutions, designed around the equipment you need to keep running.

WHY IT MATTERS

Start with the everyday need.

An unreliable grid connection can halt work, spoil stock or leave essential equipment without power. A properly designed solar or backup system addresses a specific, assessed need—not a generic specification.

01

Power cuts interrupt your work

Extended outages can stop production, affect temperature-sensitive goods or shut down equipment you depend on. A battery backup system can be sized to run essential equipment for an agreed period when mains supply fails.

02

Running costs are a concern

Solar generation can reduce the electricity drawn from the grid during daylight hours. How much depends on your usage pattern, location and the system's size—an honest assessment comes before any expectation.

03

You want to plan for reliable power

A proper assessment and considered system design reduces the risk of an undersized setup that disappoints or unnecessary expenditure on capacity you do not need.

HOW WE APPROACH IT

A clear purpose.
A practical next step.

Our team includes electrical engineers.

01

Assess your power needs

Review the loads you need to run, when you need them and for how long, to understand what a system must deliver before any equipment is chosen.

02

Design an appropriate system

Match solar panel capacity, inverter rating and battery storage to the assessed need, taking location, available space, shading and budget into account.

03

Install, test and hand over

Carry out the installation, test the system under representative load conditions and hand over with a clear explanation of operation and monitoring.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Questions you
might be asking.

Plain answers to help you decide what fits your situation.

Can you handle both solar generation and battery backup in one project?

Yes. Many projects combine solar panels with an inverter and battery bank so that generated electricity can be stored and used when the panels are not producing. The appropriate combination depends on your assessed loads and how long you need power to run without grid supply.

What size system would suit our premises?

That depends on what you need to power, when you need it, how long you need it to run and the space available. A proper load assessment comes before any system sizing recommendation. We do not recommend a configuration without that information.

How long does an installation take?

It depends on the system size, the site conditions and access requirements. We confirm the programme as part of scoping each project, after assessing the site.

Can a battery backup be added to an existing solar installation?

It may be possible, depending on the existing inverter type and wiring. We would need to review what is already in place before confirming whether an addition is viable.

What ongoing support is available after installation?

We hand over the system with instructions for operating and monitoring it. Planned maintenance arrangements are a practical consideration and should be discussed when scoping the project.
